Things you Should Not Do While Traveling to India

Whenever you plan to see the glorious beauty of the mighty Himalayas, you end up booking the travel plans of Jammu and Kashmir or Himachal Pradesh. How about a trip to the northeastern regions of India. The beauty of the Himalayas here is completely different from the rest of the country.

Flight Over Trains

If you are determined to take the trip and have the financial capacity to afford air tickets, then you should choose planes over trains. You should check about the functioning airports of the state before booking the tickets. Even though this journey does not let your body to cope with the altitude, it can ease the pain of the 40+ hours of train travel.

Minimal Luggage

Leaving all the unnecessary luggage is one of the most important things that you should do while traveling to Arunachal Pradesh. The lighter you travel, the easier it will be for you to move around. Carry only the necessary clothes and umbrella if you are traveling in Summer. If you are traveling in the winter months, then don’t forget to pack extra woolens.

Carry Hard Cash

Don’t ever rely on the plastic money while traveling to the furthest corner of the country. There is a severe scarcity of  ATMs in Arunachal Pradesh. Even if you find one ATM, there’s no guarantee of internet service or electric power per se. So, it is better to carry hard cash while traveling to Arunachal.
